Carla Denise Crawford is a native Texan. She graduated early from Nixon High School in 1998 with honors at the age of 16. While in high school, she was enrolled in the Vidal M. Trevino School of Fine Arts for dance. She received an Associate in Science from Laredo Community College in 2000. In 2002, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with honors.
After graduating, she worked as an Administrative Associate for UT Austin then transferred to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In 2007, she attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and received her Associate in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene in 2009.
She is certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners in Pit & Fissure Sealant Application and Nitrous Oxide Sedation. In addition, she is CPR certified by the American Heart Association.
Carla enjoys spending time with her family and taking her pitbull out for fun adventures. Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking with her dog, swimming, and dancing.
