Background & Education

Dr. Berenisse E. Mares-Espinoza was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M International University in 2002. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Mares-Espinoza has privileges to use Nitrous Oxide as an adjunct to local anesthesia.

Credentials

Dr. Mares-Espinoza is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Laredo District Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Personal

Dr. Mares is married to Dr. Sergio Espinoza, and they have three children. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling to Disney Parks. On her spare time, Dr. Mares-Espinoza enjoys running, watching PBS, and cooking new recipes.
